Foreign Responses to Armenia's Fight Against Coronavirus
The Chief Commissioner of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, Zareh Sinanyan, announced during an online press conference that a second group of French doctors is coming to Armenia. Presenting the office's activities, he noted that they have maintained contact with the Ministry of Health since the first days of the pandemic. “They have guided us on what needs Armenia has and how we can support by involving our compatriots from the diaspora,” he stated.
He also mentioned that significant work has been done in this direction. Zareh Sinanyan emphasized that active efforts are being made with the Armenian-American community, with a team of doctors preparing to come to Armenia. According to him, there are also interested parties from Ukraine and other communities.
Participating in the online press conference were Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy, French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte, and head of the French medical group, Alexandre Minyon.
