Violations in Gas and Fuel Stations in Zovuni: Market Regulation Authority Continues Inspections

On June 21, the inspectors of the Republic of Armenia's Market Surveillance Inspectorate continued to carry out constant monitoring in Yerevan. The monitoring covered the Davtashen administrative district and the adjacent Zovuni community.

Almost no violations were recorded in the construction material stores, fuel stations, and gas stations in Davtashen. There was even a construction material store with a disinfection booth for customers at the entrance, along with mandatory temperature checks and hand sanitizing for customers.

Some minor violations of the epidemic safety regulations set by the government were noted in clothing sales outlets, although these were not numerous.

The main violations recorded were related to the gas and fuel stations located in Zovuni, where thermometers, temperature logbooks, and specially designated closed bins for masks and gloves were absent. Additionally, there were no posted notices informing customers about the mandatory use of masks.

The business operators who violated the established norms have been gradually rectifying most of the violations. Reports regarding all those violations have been prepared and will be submitted to the government. Inspections continue throughout the Republic of Armenia.

It is worth noting that the Market Surveillance Inspectorate conducts continuous monitoring for compliance with anti-epidemic norms in shopping centers, markets, construction stores, and retail outlets for liquid fuel and compressed natural or liquefied petroleum gases, in accordance with the Deputy Prime Minister's decision No. 63 dated May 3.
