Ramzan Kadyrov Announces He Hasn’t Contracted Coronavirus
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has stated that he passed a test for COVID-19 antibodies and the result was negative. No antibodies were detected, reports MK.
"This means that I have not been ill with coronavirus," he wrote on social media. Kadyrov noted that he took the tests together with the team of Chechnya's club of cheerleaders and creative individuals. It has been revealed that among the team members, four had already contracted the coronavirus and developed immunity.
Last month, information circulated that Kadyrov had been infected and had been transferred to Moscow for treatment, along with a number of high-ranking officials. Both Kadyrov and his subordinates denied the illness and referred to reports of their flights to the capital and news about his illness as rumors.
