40,983 Reports of Violations of Emergency State Regulations
As of now, law enforcement officers have prepared a total of 40,983 reports related to violations of the legal regime of the state of emergency. During the emergency service conducted on June 20, 1,871 violations were identified. This information was provided by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
"The emergency service of the external units of the Police of Armenia continues across the entire territory of the republic. In parallel, various administrative districts are carrying out special measures to ensure effective monitoring of compliance with the requirements of the decisions made by the Prime Minister. Overall, a total of 40,983 reports of violations of the state of emergency regulations have been prepared, and 1,871 violations were identified during the emergency service conducted on June 20. Relevant reports have been prepared for all violations," the statement reads.
It is also noted that as of June 16, a decision by the Prime Minister of Armenia came into effect, requiring citizens to carry identification documents. According to the decision, acceptable identification documents include passports, identification cards, and driver's licenses. If a citizen does not have an identification document with them, law enforcement will prepare an administrative violation report against them. If a person is not wearing a mask and does not have an identification document, law enforcement will prepare two administrative violation reports against that citizen.
Moreover, police regulatory teams, in collaboration with supervisory bodies, are conducting effective monitoring through inspections in yards, self-isolation and isolation areas, during funerals and burial ceremonies, and at establishments involved in trade and public catering.
