The Army is Healthy: Up to 200 Tests Conducted Daily, Says MoD Spokesperson
Specialists from the Armed Forces of Armenia and Russia continue to jointly conduct research on the coronavirus infection using PCR tests in a mobile laboratory transferred from Russia to Armenia, reported Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
"Joint efforts, as well as the expanded capabilities of the military medicine department in recent times, allow for around 200 samples to be tested daily, rapidly identifying carriers in targeted groups and preventing further spread of the coronavirus within the armed forces. Russian specialists are also conducting training sessions for a group of military medical experts alongside their ongoing work. The vast experience of our Russian colleagues will serve to enhance the development of military medicine and the establishment of a similar stationary laboratory in the future," Stepanyan wrote on her Facebook page.
The army is healthy, and preventive measures continue," she added.
