Active Leisure Activities Now Permitted in Georgia
Active leisure activities of all types are now permitted in Georgia. Seminars and training sessions can also be conducted in open spaces. This was announced today by the press service of the Georgian government.
As of today, rafting, canyoning, and other types of aerial and terrestrial active leisure are officially allowed. Furthermore, all events must adhere to the recommendations provided by the Ministry of Health.
It is worth noting that since the reopening of domestic tourism on June 15, regulations regarding public order in public places have been tightened. This also applies to restaurants and public transport. In Georgia, face masks are still required in enclosed public spaces (offices, shops, public transport), social distancing measures must be observed, and gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited. Violators are subjected to fines.
The villages of Mushevani and Geta in the Bolnisi region remain under strict quarantine.
