Next Remote Meeting on Nagorno-Karabakh Settlement Scheduled for Late June: Zakharova
“The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are in constant contact with the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan,” said Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a press briefing today in response to a question about when dialogue on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict might resume.
“Last month, they held a joint video conference where issues related to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were discussed. The next remote meeting is scheduled to take place by the end of this month, and we will provide separate information on this,” Zakharova noted. “There is also an understanding that when the borders open, the restrictions on international air travel that were imposed due to the coronavirus will be lifted, and meetings will also take a non-remote nature.”
