VIDEO: Why Are Not All Medical Centers Involved in the Fight Against Coronavirus? Torosyan Clarifies
In the fight against the coronavirus, involving all healthcare facilities in the country is a mistake. Even if there are healthcare centers that are willing or want to handle COVID-19 patients, that does not mean they should do so. This was stated by the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan during the discussions in the National Assembly on health and social issues and financial and budgetary matters.
"This is a mistake, dear colleagues, I urge you not to succumb to the temptation to include COVID in all medical centers. COVID is an infectious disease, not a simple procedure that can be performed even in non-medical facilities," said the minister.
Torosyan noted that there will be medical centers that should stay away from coronavirus due to central decisions, which is consistent with anti-epidemic and medical principles.
