I Did Not Serve in the Army, But I Am on Reserve Duty - Head of the State Revenue Committee

“I did not serve in the army, and the news about this is viewed very negatively in the media,” said Edward Hovhannisyan, the newly appointed head of the State Revenue Committee, during a conversation with journalists after a government meeting.

Hovhannisyan clarified that he was once a conscript and received a postponement under the law due to having children. “However, I am still a conscript and am on reserve duty,” he noted.
