Claims of Lack of Care for Patient in Shushi Are Exaggerated

The Artsakh Information Headquarters denies claims regarding the lack of appropriate care for a patient diagnosed with coronavirus at the hospital in Shushi. These claims are exaggerated and do not correspond to reality.

“It is necessary to mention that the citizen was isolated in one of the hotels in Shushi but expressed a desire to be transferred to the hospital. The Ministry of Health accommodated the patient's request and transferred him to the Shushi outpatient hospital. The citizen also expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of the ward and the attitude of the medical staff, insisting that he be transferred back to the hotel.

The health ministry’s relevant specialists were willing to accommodate the request, and while they were preparing to fulfill the citizen's demand, he presented a new request within an hour: to be transferred to the medical center in Stepanakert.

During this time, the head physician of the outpatient hospital personally examined the patient, and there were no issues regarding the attention of the healthcare workers. The Ministry of Health, considering the patient's concerns and frequently expressed emotions, decided to transfer him to the Stepanakert Medical Center tomorrow, taking into account the current overload at the hospital,” said the statement released by the Information Headquarters.
