Temporary Suspension of Tashir Trade Center Operations
The specialists of the Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia continued enhanced supervisory operations today in the Kanaker-Zeitun administrative district of Yerevan. The inspections included large supermarket chain branches, offices, service halls, pharmacies, beauty centers, and dental clinics.
The inspectors are closely monitoring compliance with the regulations set by the Prime Minister. Inspections are conducted in a standardized manner, with detailed documentation on whether disinfection, temperature measurement, and recording of results are properly executed, whether there are closed trash bins and markings, if social distancing is maintained, and if samples are available, among other criteria.
Active inspections will also continue in the regions and other administrative districts of the capital. Furthermore, based on violations recorded in previous inspections, suspensions are ongoing as stipulated by the Prime Minister's decree.
Today, among dozens of other business operators, the operations of the Tashir Trade Center in Yerevan have also been temporarily suspended. Previously, the working team of the Health and Labor Inspectorate had noted deficiencies in disinfection of contact surfaces in main areas, in maintaining social distance in the gold market area, in the provision of markings, the placement of informative posters, and other shortcomings. The business operator has expressed willingness to rectify these issues.
The Health and Labor Inspectorate's press service reports that suspensions following inspections are also ongoing in the regions. The Inspectorate urges strict adherence to the rules established to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Administrative liability is stipulated for non-compliance.
