Pink Cockatoo Missing from Zoo for 9 Months Found
A pink cockatoo, or galah (scientific name: Eolophus roseicapilla), mysteriously disappeared from the zoo on September 3, 2019. In March 2020, the cockatoo was found, and yesterday, on June 9, with the efforts of the RA Police, the Investigative Committee of Armenia, and the staff of the Yerevan Zoo, the cockatoo was returned to the zoo.
