Severe floods have struck the central Italian region of Lazio due to inclement weather. A bridge has collapsed, reports the Corriere della Sera newspaper.
In the municipality of Castelnuovo Parano, torrential rains have led to flooding of yards and roads, leaving many cars partially submerged.
The bridge over the San Giorgio a Liri River has collapsed. In some areas, the high water levels have made bridge intersections dangerous.
It is worth noting that last week, Venice experienced flooding, with water levels reaching 116 cm in some areas—making it the third highest recorded for the month of June in history.
