As of June 9, 75 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital
According to the Shirak Regional Administration, as of June 9 at 11:30 AM, 75 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 42 of whom are residents of the Shirak region.
“A total of 192 residents of the Shirak region have recovered from coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Currently, 621 citizens are under home quarantine in Shirak, with a positive diagnosis in 93 cases, exhibiting asymptomatic progression. The management of these cases is being conducted by primary health care services.
Additionally, 28 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 10 recorded deaths. Since March 1, a total of 2,575 samples have been taken at health facilities in Shirak and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to June 8, 1,252 samples were tested in Gyumri,” the statement said.
