Rates for Roaming and 7 Domestic Services to be Reduced in Artsakh
On June 8, the President of the National Assembly, Arthur Tovmasyan, received the Chairman of the State Commission for Regulating Public Services and Economic Competition of the Republic of Artsakh, Mikael Virabyan, and the heads of the commission.
Mikael Virabyan, expressing gratitude for the reception, presented the main areas of the commission's activities and the expected changes within them to the NA President. Speaking about the upcoming changes, the commission's chairman noted that starting from July 1, rates for mobile roaming services and an additional 7 domestic services will be reduced.
According to Mikael Virabyan, the next reduction in that sector is planned for January 1.
NA President Arthur Tovmasyan expressed satisfaction with the work done by the commission and hoped that the reforms would be ongoing and extend to other areas regulated by the commission. The need for corresponding changes in the legislative field was emphasized by both sides as essential for the further development of the commission's work.
The President of the NA Standing Committee on Production and Production Infrastructure, Vladimir Kasanyan, also participated in the meeting.
