Two New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Artsakh, One Patient in Serious Condition

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh reports that the new coronavirus has been confirmed in two more citizens, residents of Stepanakert, according to an information headquarters announcement.

“One of the infected is in a risk group, 71 years old, has a chronic lung disease for over 10 years, and recently returned from the Republic of Armenia. The patient's condition is assessed as serious. He is connected to an oxygen device.

The other citizen infected with the coronavirus is isolated, and his health condition is assessed as satisfactory according to doctors.

In total, the coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 59 citizens of Artsakh, of which 31 have already recovered. A total of 73 citizens are in isolation, and the number of tests conducted is 1131,” the statement from the headquarters said.
