Today, by the decision of the caretaker, the entrances and exits will be closed in Dzoragukh of Gegharkunik province. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
He specifically mentioned: “The reason is that one of our beloved compatriots went from Dzoragukh to a funeral in the village of Goght, and three or four days later participated in the funeral in their village, as a result of which we already have 63 coronavirus cases in Dzoragukh. Of these 63, one citizen participated in a funeral in the village of Tsovasar. We also had a similar case in Ddmashen, when mourners came from Hrazdan for a funeral, infecting the family members, resulting in the death of the family's grandfather, leading to over 100 cases in the village. We closed Ddmashen. Following the funeral in Ddmashen, we had cases in six other communities in the region. Dear compatriots, respect human lives and do not violate anti-epidemic rules.”
