Decision to Arrest Mikayel Minasian Revoked

The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Sergey Marabyan, has overturned the decision of the First Instance Court of Yerevan, which had ordered the arrest of former Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See, Mikayel Minasian. This information was reported by Minasian's lawyer, Mihran Poghosyan.

“We have repeatedly discussed that the First Instance Court's act regarding the arrest of Mikayel Minasian was extremely illegal. Ask any lawyer, prosecutor, and investigator about the difference between Sergey Marabyan and Artush Gabrielyan, and you will understand the distinction between these two judicial acts in terms of legality and fairness,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
