23-Year-Old Car Wash Employee Stabbed in Yerevan

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, officers from the criminal investigation departments of the Erebuni and Masis police conducted necessary operational investigative measures to clarify the details of a stabbing incident that occurred on June 3 in Yerevan.

On that day, the Erebuni police received a call from the Erebuni Medical Center, reporting that a citizen had been admitted with a "stab wound to the left flank." Upon arriving at the hospital, Erebuni police officers discovered that the injured party was a 23-year-old man named Sargis M. from the village of Nor Kharberd in the Ararat region, who stated to the police that the injury was the result of a fall at home.

While doctors at the Erebuni hospital managed to save the victim’s life, police from Erebuni and Masis determined that Sargis M. had sustained the injury near a car repair facility located on Khaghagh Doni Street in Yerevan, and that he had been stabbed by a 28-year-old resident of Yerevan, Vardges T.

Erebuni and Masis police located Vardges T. and brought him into custody at the Erebuni police station. Investigative materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the same station, and the police are taking necessary measures to find the weapon used in the crime.

According to the source, both the victim and the suspect work at different car wash facilities as car washers.
