Gagik Khachatryan and His Business Sons Sue Prime Minister Pashinyan's Office
The former head of the State Revenue Committee, Gagik Khachatryan, and his sons have filed a lawsuit against the office of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to "Factinfo," Khachatryan's business sons are demanding that the Prime Minister's office apologize for an insulting statement and retract defamatory information.
The lawsuit was submitted to the court on June 2 and has been assigned to the judge of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, Sarkis Yeritsyan. The lawsuit pertains to statements made by the Prime Minister's spokesperson on behalf of Pashinyan.
On April 28, Mane Gevorgyan announced, "According to the data available to the Armenian government, Gagik Khachatryan and his sons have led a long-standing corrupt, mafia-like system in Armenia, resulting in the accumulation of several hundred million dollars in illegal wealth."
Gagik Khachatryan and his business sons, Gurgen and Artyom Khachatryan, have filed this lawsuit against the Prime Minister's office.
