Clashes in San Diego: How an Armenian Entrepreneur is Protecting His Restaurant from Looters
The owner of the Russian "Pushkin" restaurant in San Diego, Armenian Hayk Ghazaryan, and his associates have been accused of being involved with the "Russian mafia" after they had to defend their restaurant from looters.
It has been five days since the killing of African American George Floyd, and protests have erupted across various U.S. cities, turning into riots. In order to protect the years of work he has built, Ghazaryan is fighting back against attackers, armed alongside his friends.
He humorously addresses the claims of being part of the mafia, noting that looters respect those who defend or do something to protect their property.
