Blame Mr. Tsarukyan for Saying that Covid-19 Doesn't Affect Good People: Simonian to Zohrebyan
“You can blame him for saying this or that; you can also blame the Prime Minister of England or Mr. Tsarukyan for saying that Covid-19 doesn't affect good people, but today, for understandable reasons, he is not coming to the session hall,” said Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian from the podium addressing Naira Zohrebyan.
“The World Health Organization and the world in general are just now facing such an issue. I do not blame anyone because, whether it's Mr. Tsarukyan, you, or me, none of us have been familiar with this situation and we do not know what would happen if Naira Zohrebyan were the Minister of Health of Armenia, what situation we would have in Armenia, would it be worse or better? It is not fair to say that someone is throwing something onto the citizens of Armenia. We must take this mission upon ourselves and set an example. We should not separate ourselves from the citizens of Armenia and, for some reason, protect ourselves from them. It is very correct that today a well-known member of the Prosperous Armenia Party is not in the hall due to not wearing a mask, and he shouldn’t come if he isn't going to wear a mask,” Simonian stated.
