Prime Minister Pashinyan Ordered Closed Session Involving Gohyann and Tamrazyan: 'Irates'
The "Irates" newspaper reports: "A closed session held about a week ago in the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Sports, and Youth has raised many questions not only among citizens but also among the members of the committee themselves. The session included Samvel Gohyann, who has submitted his resignation from the position of Chairman of the Higher Qualifications Committee, and Grisha Tamrazyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports. Both the parliamentarians and Gohyann had initially been informed that the session would be open; however, the situation changed at the last moment. A source close to the committee told 'Irates': 'Who had something to hide, this was not a discussion that contained military secrets, was it?'
"The parliamentarians certainly had nothing to conceal. Moreover, the committee's chairman, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, and Samvel Gohyann were not constrained. The order to hold the session behind closed doors came from the very top—specifically from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, not from Minister Arayik Harutyunyan. The discussion proceeded smoothly, and the Deputy Minister answered all the questions; whether or not he provided substantive answers or was merely 'streaming', I do not know. The fact is that after this, the demand for his or the Acting Rector of the Economic University to resign has not returned to the agenda," our interlocutor responded.
He noted that although the Prime Minister has not yet signed Gohyann's resignation request, the head of the Higher Qualifications Committee will leave his position. Our interlocutor also added that the super-minister Harutyunyan's 'live' session answers all the questions: 'He sent a clear message—it's either me and Deputy Minister Tamrazyan, or Gohyann. Many are puzzled as to what exceptional talent or gift Harutyunyan is so desperately holding onto Tamrazyan for. One thing is clear, Grisha solves problems, whether through force, diplomacy, or 'boys' tactics', he does not allow Harutyunyan to be bothered by anything.'
