Artsakh President Receives 'Toyota LC 200' as a Gift from Russian Businessman
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has received a new vehicle as a gift. He announced this on his Facebook page.
"Recently, I received a Toyota LC 200 vehicle, as shown in the photo, from Russian businessman Ashot Ordoukhanian, intended for official use. It is already registered in the state balance, and I will use it as necessary for work trips outside the capital, while the electric vehicle will continue to serve as my main mode of transportation.
When Ashot informed me about the gift, my desire was for him to direct the funds intended for purchasing this vehicle towards the implementation of some social program in our country. However, since the vehicle had already been purchased for that purpose, we amicably decided that I would accept this valuable gift, passing it to the state, while he could participate in some other charitable project.
I would also like to mention that I will avoid accepting valuable gifts. If anyone wishes to express such a sentiment, I kindly request that they utilize those funds for a charitable program; otherwise, I will transfer such gifts to the state balance," wrote the Artsakh President.
