VIDEO: Court Area Disinfected During Working Hours

The disinfecting of the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court's Arabkir premises is being carried out during working hours, despite previous disinfection having occurred once before. This information was shared by Judge Zarouhi Nakhshkaryan.

She specifically noted, “A special disinfection has been carried out at the Arabkir court once. If I am not mistaken, it was on 20.03.2020. Until today, many have reported the need for more frequent disinfections. And now, today—a working day, Monday, starting at 9:00 AM—it has been decided to disinfect. As a result, court employees have been asked to leave and advised not to enter for 20 minutes. We have now entered. It is impossible to breathe; the smoke in the rooms is still prevalent... This certainly poses a hazard to all staff members of the premises... Why this could not be done during the past four non-working days without paralyzing the court’s regular operations, I do not know... Such outcomes arise when actions are taken not for the benefit, but merely for the sake of reporting.”
