Passengers Found Standing in Transport; Two Passengers Simultaneously Seated in Front Seat
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), starting early on June 1, specialists from the Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection body have implemented enhanced monitoring and constant supervision in Yerevan's Arabkir administrative district in cooperation with the police.
Several violations and shortcomings have been identified in vehicles operating on regular routes. The primary violations include the transportation of passengers with two individuals seated in the front seat simultaneously and, in some cases, the absence of disinfectant liquid. Overloaded vehicles were also found, including standing passengers.
Based on these violations, the traffic police have compiled reports. The inspection specialists provided on-site instructions and conducted active awareness and explanatory work to ensure compliance with the requirements of the RA Prime Minister's May 14 decision No. 74.
Active work is also being carried out in other administrative districts of Yerevan and regions, which will continue throughout the day.
