Azerbaijan Takes Action: Attacks Organized - 'Journalist'

'Journalist' newspaper reports: 'Yesterday, it was widely covered that today the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) will publish a ruling in the case of Armenian Armed Forces officer Gurgen Margaryan, which states that Azerbaijan has violated the European Convention on Human Rights. It was expected that Azerbaijan would respond in some way to this; although there were essentially no official responses, hacker groups connected to Azerbaijan were active during this time, targeting, as always, Armenian media and especially websites of companies conducting business in Artsakh.

In particular, as a result of yesterday's attack, Azerbaijani symbols and inscriptions appeared on the news.am website, and similar issues arose on tetchange.com, a site engaged in cryptocurrency trade that also operates in Artsakh, along with other online resources. Despite existing international legislation and the presence of international norms against cybercrime, hacker groups connected directly or indirectly to our eastern neighbor continue to carry out cyber crimes on significant days, which should compel our country to pay more serious attention to these issues.'
