The gold medal from the 2018 FIFA World Cup has been put up for auction and sold for €65,000. This was reported by Le Soir.

The name of the French national team player whose medal was sold has not been disclosed.

Additionally, the gold medals of the Brazilian national team players from the 1994 and 2002 championships were sold at the auction for €44,000 and €46,000, respectively.

It is worth noting that in 2018, the French national team triumphed over Croatia in the final with a score of 4:2.
