Lars Open Only for Freight Trucks, Georgia's Border Still Closed

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for freight transport following intense snow removal work.

At the same time, it is reported that the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
