Armenian Citizen Wanted by Interpol Greece Found on Sochi-Yerevan Flight

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures implemented by the criminal investigation department of the Zvartnots Airport Police, a 45-year-old man named Gagik A. was detained at the airport after the arrival of the Sochi-Yerevan flight on May 19 at 23:50. He had been wanted by Interpol Greece since April 7 for transporting prohibited foreign nationals into Greek territory, illegal possession of firearms, and unlawfully holding narcotics for personal use.

The preventive measure taken against him is detention. The discovery has been reported to the Interpol National Central Bureau in Armenia and the prosecutor's office.
