Search Operations for Missing Citizen Near Sevan Peninsula Conclude Without Results

On May 19, at 11:26 AM, a team from the regional rescue service's special water rescue squad departed to the "9th Beach" to continue the search operations for a missing citizen. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' information and public relations department.

The search efforts concluded without finding any results. It is noteworthy that on April 27, at 10:10 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received information indicating that the vehicle and clothing of a citizen who had gone missing a few days earlier were discovered near the Sevan Peninsula in Gegharkunik Province, prompting the need for the assistance of water rescuers to carry out rescue operations in the lake.

Two teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Gegharkunik regional rescue service's special water rescue squad were dispatched to the scene. However, the search operations were called off as the drowned citizen was not located. It was determined that the vehicle and belongings belonged to Volodya V., a resident of Abovyan city (born in 1988).

The search operations conducted by the special water rescue squad from the regional rescue service on April 29, May 5, May 13, 15, and 18 in the area of the "9th Beach" concluded without any results.
