Anna Hakobyan on the Successful Surgery of a 17-Year-Old Boy

The wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, who is also the chairwoman of the boards of the ‘My Step’ and ‘City of Smile’ charitable foundations, has shared on Facebook the successful surgery of 17-year-old Armen P., a beneficiary of the ‘City of Smile’ foundation.

“We are pleased to inform that the surgery of 17-year-old Armen P., a beneficiary of the ‘City of Smile’ charitable foundation, has been successful. During the surgery, special surgical instruments purchased by the ‘City of Smile’ charitable foundation for this intervention were used (Echelon Flex 45 Endo Linear Cutter), along with surgical supplies (Endoscopic Cutter Reload), which altogether cost 2,219,000 AMD. We thank the ‘Holy Mother of God’ Medical Center and Dr. David Dallakyan personally for performing the surgery free of charge. Armen continues treatment at the Center for Pediatric Oncology and Blood Disorders. I am confident that he will soon overcome cancer and go home.
