62-Year-Old Employee of the National Institute of Health Overcomes Coronavirus

The National Institute of Health has shared the story of a staff member who has overcome the coronavirus. 'Zaven Hovakimyan, a 62-year-old employee of the National Institute of Health, is one of those who has successfully battled the coronavirus disease. Today, he has returned to work. During these days, like many employees of the National Institute, Zaven was also on the front lines of the pandemic. Without ever sitting behind the wheel of an ambulance, he agreed without a moment's hesitation to drive the vehicle transporting patients infected with the coronavirus.'

From April 6 to 28, Zaven spent the entire time in the hospital under the supervision of doctors. With a temperature of 40 degrees, cough, and shortness of breath, thanks to the professional medical staff at the SGHL Medical Center, all of that is now behind him. Zaven spent his 62nd birthday in the hospital's intensive care unit and only regrets one thing: that he was unable to continue with the mission he had undertaken,' the statement reads.
