Pashinyan on Artsakh Negotiations: No New Document Has Been Formed After the Revolution, We Have Abandoned the Old One

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during today’s press conference that a question arose during the Artsakh negotiations about whether Armenia should continue talks from the point where the previous authorities had left off. Pashinyan declared that this legacy is unacceptable for them.

The Prime Minister recounted that they have already expressed Armenia's position on the Artsakh negotiations. According to Pashinyan, they should not be constrained during the negotiation process, forcing them to ignore various proposals and options, including phased and package solutions. He noted that it is still necessary to understand what phased and package solutions mean.

Regarding the document under discussion, Pashinyan stated that no new document has been formed since the revolution. As for the negotiations surrounding the old document, he indicated they have rejected it, as they consider it unacceptable.

The Prime Minister emphasized that their task is to find a solution that is acceptable to all three parties. If such a solution cannot be found, then the issue simply will not be resolved.
