Shooting Reported During Altercation on Masnikyan Street in Vanadzor
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on May 14, at approximately 13:45, an altercation occurred in the rear of the 'Asteri' eatery located at 5/5-1 Masnikyan Street in Vanadzor, during which gunshots were fired.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, officers of the Lori regional police have determined that on the same day, at around 13:45, local residents including 47-year-old Tigran Melkonyan, 38-year-old Roman Grigoryan, 33-year-old Levon Zuloyan, 34-year-old Anushavan Zakaryan, 41-year-old Davit Avetikyan, and 31-year-old Vladimir Harutyunyan got into a dispute with a group of unidentified individuals, resulting in mutual physical attacks.
During the altercation, participant V. Harutyunyan fired shots from a currently unidentified type of firearm, thus violating public order as well.
According to G. Shamshyan, the police have apprehended Roman Grigoryan and Davit Avetikyan. The police are undertaking necessary operational-investigative measures to identify the other participants in the brawl and locate the firearm used.
Furthermore, it has been reported that among those detained, Davit Avetikyan is known in Vanadzor by the nickname 'Glaz.'
