No Mention of Secret Expenses in the Letter Sent to Urikhanyan by the Prosecutor's Office
National Assembly member Tigran Urikhanyan continues to make statements regarding alleged secret expenses from the funds of the "Military Personnel Insurance Fund" while addressing the topic of earmarked payments. He claims that such expenses are referenced in a response letter provided by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia in response to his inquiry.
This was announced by Gor Abrahamyan, an advisor to the Prosecutor General, on his Facebook page. He stated, "I find it necessary to clarify that there is no mention of any secret expenditure in the letter sent to Tigran Urikhanyan by the Prosecutor General's Office. Moreover, the letter referred not to expenditures but to the income received by the Fund."
He further explained, "The term 'secret' was used in the response not concerning expenditures, but in relation to individual and quantitative data concerning certain categories of employers' employees, which, by law, are not subject to publication and are not reflected in reports. Furthermore, the quantitative data regarding the aforementioned individuals, as a rule, do not undergo significant changes."
