New Deputy Minister Appointed in Armenia's Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
According to the decision No. 583-A of May 15, 2020, by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Tatevik Stepanyan has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
"Guided by the first part of Article 9 of the Law on Public Service of the Republic of Armenia, Tatevik Stepanyan is appointed as the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs," states the text of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision.
Biography
Tatevik Stepanyan was born on May 12, 1982. She studied at Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov from 1999 to 2004, where she obtained qualifications as a specialist in English and German languages and as a teacher.
From 2015 to 2016, she completed a course on "Support Methods for Children with Reading and Writing Difficulties" at the International Institute of Education and Dyslexia of University College London (UCL). During the same period, she also graduated from the University of California, Davis, in a course on "Autistic Spectrum Disorders." In 2019, she participated in the Asian Development Bank / GIZ Continuing Education Department's program on Women's Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Communication at the American University of Armenia / AUA extension.
Since 2017, she has served as an advisor at Rekaveri College, approved by the Armenian Psychiatric Association. From 2004 to 2020, she worked as the chief manager at EVANT Group LLC. In 2017, she founded and led the social public organization "A Step Forward." She was a member of Impact Hub Yerevan within the framework of the "Zartir Fellowship" from 2019 to 2020. Since 2019, she has been a member of the public council adjacent to the Minister of Health, as well as a member of the public council adjacent to the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. She is proficient in English, Russian, and German.
