Kotayk Governor Orders Clearance of 15-18 Meters from Highway Edge for 30 Objects
The Governor of Kotayk, Romanos Potrosyan, has announced via his Facebook page that 30 objects in the administrative areas of Hrazdan, Kaghsi, Solak, and Charentsavan communities have been examined and a series of directives issued, including the clearance of areas 15 to 18 meters from the edge of the highway.
"On my initiative, on May 14, 2020, the Urban Development Department of the Kotayk Regional Administration conducted a joint study with employees of the 'Hayantar' SNCO on the service and public catering objects located in the territories adjacent to the sections of the M-4 interstate road servicing Kotayk province. As a result, 30 objects in the administrative regions of Hrazdan, Kaghsi, Solak, and Charentsavan were analyzed.
All received verbal instructions to clean the areas within a week, dismantle unused pavilions, clear the 15-18 meter strips from the edge of the highway, and improve the conditions. Owners of better-maintained objects were given instructions to rectify identified deficiencies. Such examinations will be periodic and conducted from time to time with the involvement of competent authorities and professional circles," wrote the governor.
