Global COVID-19 Cases Exceed 4.5 Million, Death Toll Reaches 303,413
As of 09:30 on May 15, the number of COVID-19 infections worldwide has reached 4,527,127, with 303,413 fatalities and 1,705,815 recoveries. The number of active cases globally stands at 2,517,888, of which 45,557 individuals, or 2%, are in critical condition.
The United States continues to lead the world in both cases and deaths. The country has reported 1,457,593 confirmed infections, with 86,912 deaths and 318,027 recoveries.
