Search for Naira Zohrabyan's Diamond Ring in the National Assembly
Naira Zohrabyan's now-famous diamond ring, which she wore over her gloves, became the center of an entire odyssey yesterday at the National Assembly building. According to hraparak.am, the parliamentarian who attended the session noticed shortly after entering her office that the ring was not on her finger.
The parliamentarian, along with her assistants and numerous staff members of the National Assembly, conducted a search both inside the parliament building and in the yard, reaching as far as the entrance checkpoint, but to no avail. After about an hour of searching, the parliamentarian's valuable piece of jewelry was found inside a Belarusian gingerbread box. It turned out that Zohrabyan had not noticed how the ring had slipped off her finger while eating the gingerbread.
Her assistant discovered the jewelry, after which the owner expressed her gratitude to the 'search' team.
