According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, the newly elected President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, has decided that the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh should be someone exclusively from his team. Based on our information, two names are currently being discussed, one of whom is Karen Danielyan, a representative of the "Free Homeland" party, and the other is Eleanor Avanesyan, with the possibility that for the first time, Artsakh may have a female president of parliament.
According to our sources, the new authorities of Artsakh are preparing for the inauguration ceremony of the new president, which will take place on May 21 in Shushi, at the Shushi Cultural Palace. It is also noted that due to the prevention of the spread of coronavirus, the new authorities of Artsakh are doing everything to keep the event from being crowded, but invitations will still be sent to the authorities of Armenia.
Our sources report that after Araik Harutyunyan's inauguration, the president will begin the second round of meetings with the political forces that won the elections.
