Lithuania's Humanitarian Aid: Medical Equipment for Armenia on the Way
On May 13, at the airport in Šiauliai, Lithuania, a ceremony was held for the packaging and shipment of medical equipment, designated as humanitarian aid from Lithuania to Armenia. The event was attended by Misak Balayan, the Consul of the Armenian Embassy in Lithuania. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Lithuania.
The decision to provide humanitarian aid was made by the Lithuanian government on April 22, which allocated a total of 100,000 euros to support several Eastern Partnership countries, including Armenia, in the fight against the coronavirus. The aid comprises medical supplies produced by Lithuanian companies.
