Interrogations in the Arthur Danielyan-Alen Simonian Incident Case
The "Zhamanak" newspaper reports: The criminal case initiated based on the reports of Deputy Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonian and President of the "Adekvad" party Arthur Danielyan is actively being investigated by the Special Investigative Service. Witnesses and participants of the brawl are being interrogated.
Yesterday, Davit Jalalyan, who witnessed the incident and attempted to "intervene" between the disputing parties, was also interrogated in this case. In an interview with "Zhamanak", Jalalyan stated that the interrogation lasted about 4 hours, but he cannot disclose any details about its content due to having signed a confidentiality agreement regarding the pre-investigation.
“The investigator warned me that the content of the interrogation is a pre-investigation secret, and I cannot publish it. I can only say that I told everything I saw with my own eyes,” Jalalyan said.
It is also worth mentioning that a criminal case has been initiated at the Special Investigative Service under Articles 258(2) (hooliganism accompanied by violence or a threat of violence against a person, as well as the destruction or damage of another's property) and 117 (causing light bodily harm intentionally) of the RA Criminal Code.
