No Garbage Truck Seen in Charentsi 1 Alley for One and a Half Years

In the Charentsi 1 alley of Yerevan’s Center community, there have been no garbage bins for over two years, and a garbage truck has not been seen for a year and a half. Residents, most of whom pay quite high property taxes, have reported to 24News that they either take the garbage down to the city to dump it somewhere or it accumulates in their yards, creating an unpleasant smell and becoming hazardous.

According to the residents, the hotlines never respond, not even after days, and if this situation occurs in some part of the central community, one can only imagine what it must be like in the outskirts of the capital. Thus, the issue of garbage in Yerevan remains unresolved.
