Victory Day Air Parade: Honor March with Our Glorious Veterans
The Armenian people celebrate a tripartite holiday on May 9, commemorating the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the liberation of Shushi, and the establishment of the Defense Army of Artsakh.
As part of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, an air parade was held on May 9, along with an honorable march featuring our glorious veterans.
The honor march took place at the Mother Armenia Memorial in Yerevan’s Victory Park, attended by esteemed veterans. Accompanied by soldiers, they visited the memorial, laying flowers at the eternal flame to pay tribute to the fallen in the war.
The flight of Su-30 multifunctional modern aircraft began in Gyumri, arriving in Yerevan to demonstrate aerial maneuvers near the Mother Armenia Memorial. Earlier, the Su-30 planes were conducting preparatory flights in the sky over Yerevan for the air parade. Aircraft from the Russian military base were also involved in the air parade.
