Leaders of Armenia and Artsakh Commemorate at Stepanakert Memorial
Today, on May 9, leaders from the Republic of Artsakh and Armenia, high-ranking military officials, and citizens paid their respects at the Stepanakert city memorial dedicated to the May Triple Holiday. According to a reporter from Artsakhpress, Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, along with his wife Anahit Sahakyan, former President Arkadi Ghukasyan, newly elected President Arayik Harutyunyan with his wife Kristine Harutyunyan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with Anna Hakobyan, the leader of the Artsakh Diocese, Archbishop Pargav Martirosyan, as well as the Presidents of the National Assemblies of Armenia and Artsakh, Ararat Mirzoyan and Ashot Ghouyan respectively, laid flowers and wreaths at the monument commemorating the heroic deeds of those who perished in the Artsakh liberation struggle and in the Great Patriotic War, as well as at the graves of fallen freedom fighters from the Artsakh war.
