You are new, I am the former, right? Arpine Hovhannisyan to Nikol Pashinyan
Former Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, writes on her Facebook page: "You are new, I am the former, right? Pashinyan was in his element today. Everything was classic—the 'fearful' expression on his face, the hysteria, the shouting, and of course, the cynicism and lies.
With a strange logic, he reacts most imbalanced to the vices for which he himself is responsible. If it's not too difficult, quickly remove the word 'balance' from your vocabulary. It has nothing to do with you. Remember, you are the very founder of cursing culture in Armenia. The author of the most disgusting supreme provocation. The academic of lies and cynicism. The patron of the ignorant.
“I apologize for saying this, but female MPs of the parliamentary majority are threatened with rape on social networks. Their children are threatened to be killed on the streets, the most baseless rumors are spread about MPs from the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly.”
The author of these words is none other than the great 'revolutionary', our era's untalented schemer and the failed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Mr. Hypocrite, you are two whole years late! My female colleagues and I encouraged you, asked you to stop what was happening from the podium—releasing phone numbers, obscene collages, insults. But you enjoyed it, you were silent, and now, suddenly, you remember?
Can you imagine the leader of the 'revolution', who subjected female MPs to the most vulgar insults and organized black ribbons and staged funerals, suddenly discovers that the law of the boomerang works flawlessly two years after the 'revolution'? The same 'revolution' where your minions chose to surround houses to target the defenseless, both in the direct and indirect sense of the word. (You were neither able nor willing as a man to protect your female colleagues).
They came to my or Shushan's house because we lived in a multi-storey building, and these shameless, unholy, and unpatriotic scoundrels had no problem climbing to my floor and sticking a poster saying 'You are a traitor' on my door.
By the way, not a single one of these liars was there to ask—what makes you think you are human or of value that you can be called a traitor? Surely, they wouldn’t go to the houses of oligarch MPs to see them get their place shown from afar. (Those oligarchs who have since become your Prime Minister’s beloved large property owners).
Nikol, when the 'revolutionary' crowd under your leadership was seizing the National Assembly with the most vile vocabulary and insults on October 2, two years ago, I warned Mr. Ara Babloyan, then President of the National Assembly, in his office that the evil you sowed would turn against you. You didn’t understand then, and experience shows you still haven’t understood that you did this, and let me say more. You can no longer fix it. You cannot!
Nikol, the next time you try to feign anger, I suggest just looking in the mirror and seeing that there is only one person responsible for all the evils, afflictions, and wrongs, and that person is you. Neither are you respected nor feared. Neither by your teammates, nor your opponents.
Today, I watched what happened in the parliament with great pain for the country but with satisfaction for your team, because you and your team are gradually starting to confront the monster whose parent and constant fertilizer has been you. By the way, it’s very good that you didn’t think of asking anyone to resign their mandate. You would have staged it!
P.S. Few people know that I did not want to participate in the 2018 parliamentary elections. However, I made a decision based on important awareness. When the political force that I was part of at that time did not appear in the parliament, I often said that I was genuinely glad about it. Even many of my close friends thought I was not sincere. Now I can reaffirm threefold, I am extremely glad that I am not part of such a disgraceful parliament.
P.S.1. Even if I harm myself with this post, I cannot fail to mention that Ararat Mirzoyan, at that time, was able to express condolences in person for the death of a relative and apologize. #cynical_ignorance
