When Marukyan was rushing towards Sasun Mikayelyan, what was he going for: Pashinyan
Prime Minister Pashinyan stated earlier today in the National Assembly that he unequivocally condemns any manifestation of violence in all its forms. This statement comes in response to an incident that occurred this morning in the National Assembly.
“When he was coming down from the podium and rushing towards the deputy Sasun Mikayelyan, what was he going for? To initiate a political dialogue? Even if Sasun Mikayelyan had moved, where is the confidence that he wouldn’t simply express his indignation and leave this hall?” Pashinyan questioned.
He described the incident as nothing less than a disgusting provocation, stating, “I cannot call what happened anything other than a provocation. They want to turn us into the ones who beat in their yards, they want to divert us from our values and disrupt our balance.”
