Certain Imports Exempt from Customs Duties: State Revenue Committee

The State Revenue Committee has announced that the import of certain goods into the Eurasian Economic Union territory has been exempted from customs duties as part of measures to prevent the new type of coronavirus.

Specifically, according to decisions No. 21 of March 16, 2020, and No. 34 of April 3, 2020, by the Eurasian Economic Commission, until September 30, 2020, the exemption will primarily apply to certain medical-related products if the goods are registered under the "Exemption for Internal Consumption" customs procedure and the import permit is submitted by the relevant authorized executive body. It should be noted that the exemption has been in effect since March 16, 2020. The list of products is available here.

Additionally, according to decision No. 33 of April 3, 2020, until June 30, 2020, under the same customs procedure, agricultural products will also be exempt from customs duties along with medical supplies. This exemption has been in effect since April 1, 2020. The complete list is available here.
