There Is No Deal Between the President and the Prime Minister: Press Service
In response to information disseminated by certain media outlets suggesting that there is some sort of deal or agreement between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister regarding the law on the confiscation of property of illegal origin, the public relations department of the President's Office, considering a number of inquiries from various media, states:
There is no deal, nor can there be one. All of this misinformation should be viewed as part of a series of absurdities that are regularly spread by certain circles. Individuals or groups who have specialized in reaching such absurd conclusions are attempting to establish themselves as 'grand' sorcerers of conspiracy theories.
The President of the Republic has repeatedly addressed the importance of environmental issues on various platforms, including internationally renowned forums, which the aforementioned individuals is unable to understand for various reasons. As a result, various absurdities continuously arise among them.
As for the law on the confiscation of property of illegal origin, as previously informed, it is currently under review at the President's Office. The appropriate divisions of the Office are examining the law and conducting legal and other professional assessments in order to present a conclusion to the President of the Republic. According to the Constitution, the President will express his position on this matter within the established timeframe.
